New clients aren't coming in.
When you post and advertise but the right enquiries don't arrive, the answer is rarely doing more. It usually sits in the offer, the message, the audience or how you measure.
Who recognises this
- You post, you run ads, and the enquiries that arrive still aren't the right ones.
- You run a service business (a clinic, a guesthouse, an agency, a studio) and new clients still depend on referrals.
- You spend more on marketing and the calendar still doesn't fill up.
- Enquiries come in, but most ask for the price and disappear.
Why this usually happens
- It isn't clear who your service is for or when people need it.
- The offer is unclear or sounds like five competitors.
- You are on several channels at once without knowing which one brings clients.
- You count followers and clicks, not enquiries that turn into clients.
- Enquiries arrive, but nobody replies quickly or follows up.
What I would look at first
Before touching ads or posts, I look at the foundations. Can you describe your client? Does the offer make sense in ten seconds? Are your channels where that client looks? The problem almost always starts before the contact form.
- Who the service is for and why they should choose you.
- Where your last clients came from.
- What happens to an enquiry from the moment it arrives until it gets a reply.
- What you measure today and whether it helps you decide.
Where this usually leads
- Start with the marketing diagnostic to see what is really stopping clients from coming in.
- Then decide what to do first: offer, message, website, Google or how you measure. If it makes sense, ongoing support follows.
